At Burana Tower, we will visit the ancient minaret and learn about the history of the medieval city of Balasagun. You can climb to the top of the tower for a panoramic view of the Chuy Valley. We will also see the open-air museum with stone statues called balbals and ancient petroglyphs. After exploring, we’ll stop in a nearby village to taste traditional kattama bread and tea.
At Grigorievka and Kyrchyn Gorges, we will hike through the scenic gorges and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Visitors will see dramatic cliffs, rock formations, and flowing streams. There will also be an eagle demonstration, where you can watch trained eagles in action and learn about the traditional Kyrgyz art of eagle hunting.
At Jeti-Oguz Canyon (Seven Bulls Rocks), we will explore the famous red rock formations, including the “Seven Bulls” and “Broken Heart” rocks. Visitors can walk along the canyon trails, enjoy the scenic views, and take photos of the unique landscape. There will also be opportunities to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
On the way from Barskoon to Bishkek, we will visit Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon to see the colorful rock formations and unique shapes created by erosion. At Aksay Canyon, we will explore the dramatic cliffs and valleys, take short hikes, and enjoy the natural scenery. This route offers plenty of photo opportunities and time to appreciate Kyrgyzstan’s landscapes.
