Unomachi, once the only post town in the Uwajima Domain, is lined with buildings from the mid-Edo period to the early Showa era, featuring distinctive white walls and lattice windows. On this tour, you can experience a Meiji-era class at Kaimei School, built in 1882 (Meiji 15), followed by a guided visit to Uwaminzukan and a stroll through the charming streets of the town.

Lunch is served at Ikedaya, a former sake shop renovated into a restaurant, featuring seasonal local vegetables and rice cooked in a traditional kama pot, prepared in a wholesome, vegetarian style. Enjoy a nourishing meal in a warm, inviting atmosphere and refresh both your mind and body.
