Meeting and pickup
We’ll meet at Elizabeth’s home (address on our website). You can come directly or we can arrange transport from Santa Elena or nearby for an additional cost, usually $15–$30 for up to 4 people, depending on location.
What to expect
You’ll begin by learning about traditional Costa Rican ingredients—many sourced locally in the Monteverde region—and how they are used in everyday cooking. Step by step, you’ll prepare a complete homemade meal together, picking up practical tips and techniques along the way.
Once the meal is ready, you’ll sit down to enjoy it family-style, sharing stories and flavors in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Vegetarian, vegan, and allergy-friendly options can be accommodated—please let your host know in advance. Transportation can be arranged upon request for an additional cost.
