Glide through crystal-clear waters, surrounded by the enchanting beauty of Florida's wild riverbanks, while keeping an eye out for local wildlife like deer and cranes. Each spring offers its own charm—from the tranquil Lilly Springs to the romantic Rum Island, steeped in history. Enjoy secluded picnic spots and the opportunity to swim in the refreshing waters of Gilchrist Blue Springs, the crown jewel of the trip. This adventure is not just a paddle; it's a chance to reconnect with nature and make lasting memories.

When you enter the park, you will go to the Far West side of the park all the way down to the boat ramp. That is where our Boat Barn right next to the Boat ramp inside the park

What to expect

Your journey begins at Poe Springs Park boat ramp, where you’ll check in and launch your paddleboard, kayak, or canoe. Before heading downstream, don’t miss the chance to paddle a short stretch upriver to explore Poe Springs, adding an extra spring to your 8 in 8 Adventure!

As you glide downriver, you’ll discover the beauty of Florida’s natural springs, stopping to swim, snorkel, or simply marvel at their crystal-clear waters. Your adventure concludes at Santa Fe River Park, where you’ll wait for a return shuttle back to Poe Springs Park.

Important Details:
Check-in Times: 9:00AM & 10:45AM (walk-ups welcome)
Return Shuttle Wait Times: May vary, up to 45 minutes. Restrooms and pavilions are available at Santa Fe River Park.
Rental Return Deadline: All rentals must be back at Santa Fe River Park by 5:00PM.
