    Robben Island Museum

    In Cape Town, you will be picked up and driven to the Nelson Mandela Gateway at the V&A Waterfront, where you will catch a ferry to Robben Island. Once there, you will take a guided tour with a former political prisoner to explore this significant historical place, providing you with unique insight into South Africa's past. In addition to visits to significant landmarks and a bus tour of the island, the trip includes a stroll through the prison complex where you can see the cell where Nelson Mandela once resided. Along the journey, you'll discover the history of the island, hear first hand accounts of perseverance, and enjoy breath taking vistas of Table Mountain from across the ocean, which few tourists ever forget.
