Please make sure to provide your correct hotel name, phone number, and exact pickup location at the time of booking. Pickup usually starts approximately 1 hour before the official departure time, depending on your location. Be ready at your pickup point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time to avoid any delays. We will contact you via phone or WhatsApp one day before the tour to confirm the pickup time and location. If you’re arriving via airport or ferry, please send your flight or ferry details as early as possible.
Our driver-guide will be waiting for you at the hotel lobby or reception area, holding a sign with your lead traveler’s name and Kihindo Tours & Safaris logo. Please be ready 10–15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

1Dar es Salaam
Pick up from the airport, hotel, or ferry, and drive to the SGR Station for your train to the Morogoro region, approximately a 1-hour journey. Upon arrival, your driver guide will transport you to Mikumi National Park for a late-morning to afternoon game drive. After enjoying a hot lunch, you will continue the game drive until late evening, then a transfer to Camp lilac Mikumi for dinner and an overnight stay. Activities: Game drive.

After breakfast, we will embark on a day game drive to observe animals in Mikumi National Park. One of Mikumi's key features is its large plain, making it easier to spot a variety of animals. The park is home to animals such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, impalas, zebras, and many others. Following the game drive, we will enjoy lunch at one of the picnic campsites in the park. After lunch, we will return to Camp lilac Mikumi to relax for a bit. Around 4:00pm, we will visit a Masai village and stay until late evening before driving back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. Activities: Full-day game drive and cultural tour. Accommodation: Camp lilac Mikumi. Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Main Destination: Mikumi National Park

We will have an early breakfast, and afterward, your driver will take us to Morogoro SGR Station for your train to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, your driver will transport us from the station to the airport, hotel, or ferry for your boat to Zanzibar. Main Destination: Dar Es Salaam (City)
