What to expect

The journey begins at Morikawa Shuzō, a brewery with over 120 years of history. Your English-speaking guide will tell you all about the spring water essential for brewing ginjō and the traditional techniques maintained by the brewery. This knowledge will illuminate your appreciation of the soft flavours and distinctive aromas in the tasting afterwards.

Next, you head to a local supermarket in to purchase locally-grown vegetables, seafood, and seasonings to create your own original BBQ menu.

The highlight is the oyster BBQ and sake pairing at an oyster farm beside the Inland Sea. Grilling freshly harvested oysters on the dock with a view of the bay and fishing boats is a unique experience. Combined with several varieties of Hiroshima’s finest sake, it’s heaven.
