Guided by a sushi chef with over 10 years of experience, this 1.5-hour lesson offers detailed instruction in both rolled sushi (makizushi) and nigiri sushi techniques.
The experience also includes a fun sushi quiz featuring surprising facts and trivia about sushi history — even most Japanese people don’t know them! Perfect for all skill levels, you’ll create and enjoy your own sushi while capturing memorable photos along the way. With small group sizes, you’ll receive plenty of personal attention and leave with not only delicious sushi, but also a deeper connection to Japanese cuisine and culture.

The restaurant is located on the first floor of a building in a traditional Japanese shopping street. It is very easy to recognize from the outside as a sushi restaurant. Please come inside directly, and your host will be waiting for you at the entrance. We look forward to welcoming you!

In this 1.5-hour sushi-making class, you’ll step into a traditional Japanese shopping street area just one stop from Shinjuku. After a warm welcome, your host will start with a fun quiz about Japanese sushi culture.

Next, you’ll learn rolling techniques from an experienced sushi chef and create your own colorful sushi rolls. Every step is carefully guided so that even beginners can enjoy the process. You’ll also try your hand at making nigiri sushi, with step-by-step instruction to ensure your success.

Once your sushi is complete, you’ll taste your own creations, capture memorable photos, and share the fun with fellow participants. With small group sizes, you’ll receive plenty of personal support, making the experience both relaxed and rewarding.
