You can wear authentic Samurai armor and take part in a short movie shoot and a professional Samurai photo session inside our studio.

All the armors on display are genuine pieces — handcrafted by skilled artisans and used in actual films.

We have over 20 sets of armor, including replicas of historical warlords and original SHOGUN STUDIO designs, with around 10 on display at any given time. The armor lineup changes monthly, so every visit offers something new.

(A) Armor Experience: One full set of armor per person
(B) Short Movie: One short movie per group (~2 min.)
(C) Samurai Photos: 10 photos per person
(D) Projection Mapping Experience
(E) Experience Duration: Approximately 60 minutes
(F) Weapons used (sword, spear, bow)

All shooting data will be delivered within 24 hours via Google Drive.

3-minute walk from JR Saga-Arashiyama Station. Exit the ticket gate and proceed to the South Exit Gate, then walk 3 minutes in a straight line.

Once you see and touch them, you’ll be amazed by their weight, craftsmanship, and realism. In this plan, your professional creators and photographers will film a Samurai Short Movie and take Samurai Photos of you in the studio. Additionally, through stunning projection mapping, the entire studio transforms into the Sengoku era, immersing you in a thrilling world where Samurai tradition meets futuristic technology. Experience a one-of-a-kind fusion of history and innovation like never before.
