Guided by an Urasenke tea instructor, discover the spirit of Japanese hospitality, wabi-sabi, and the deep historical connection between tea culture and the samurai. Tea was an important part of warrior life, representing discipline, respect, and meaningful communication.
Enjoy freshly prepared matcha with seasonal wagashi from Sasaya Iori, a Kyoto confectioner with more than 300 years of history. The experience includes 5 professionally taken photos per person.
Rental kimono is also available. For a special option, choose a hand-painted Kyo-Yuzen kimono from our studio collection, valued at approximately ¥1,800,000. Please let us know when booking, as kimono dressing and hair styling must be arranged in advance.
