Derawar Fort (Saraiki, Urdu: قِلعہ ڈیراور) is a fortress in Yazman Tehsil in the Bahawalpur District of Punjab, Pakistan. Approximately 20 km south of the city of Ahmedpur East, the forty bastions of Derawar are visible for many miles in the Cholistan Desert. The walls have a perimeter of 1500 metres and stand up to thirty metres high.
Darbar Mahal is a palace in Bahawalpur, Pakistan.[1] The building was built to hold courtly events and government offices of the former princely state of Bahawalpur.[2] The palace sits in a 75-acre (30 ha) garden.[3] The entire palace complex was leased to the armed forces beginning in 1966.[4] It currently serves as the Headquarters of 35 Infantry Divi
Gulzar Mahal was built between 1906 and 1909.[4] It was commissioned during the reign of Sadeq Mohammad Khan V,[5][4] and was built to be the residence for women members of the royal household of the former princely state of Bahawalpur, aside from the Queen.[6] The palace is surrounded by a large garden,[7] and is located in the Bahawalgarh Palace Complex in close proximity to the palaces of Darbar Mahal, Farrukh Mahal, and Nishat Mahal.[8] This beautiful palace was named after the wife of the Nawab Bahawal Khan V.
