Today, we depart to explore the Hira district, beginning with the Revelation Exhibition, a remarkable site near Mount Hira in Makkah. This exhibition focuses on the story of divine revelation to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and features a dedicated section on the first revelation in Hira Cave. Visitors also learn about key figures such as Khadeejah (RA) and Angel Jibreel (AS). Next, we visit the Museum of the Holy Quran, the first of its kind in Makkah, showcasing the Quran’s greatness, its influence on Muslim life, and rare ancient manuscripts through modern displays. We then ascend Jabal Al Nour, home to the Cave of Hira, where the Prophet (SAW) received the first revelation in Ramadan 610 CE. From its summit, the mountain offers stunning views of Makkah and the Holy Mosque. Return to hotel.

This exhibition brings to life the story of divine revelation and its connection to Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Through interactive displays and immersive experiences, visitors are guided through the moments when Angel Jibreel (AS) first revealed Allah’s message to the Prophet (ﷺ) inside Hira Cave. Dedicated sections highlight key figures and moments, including Sayyidah Khadeejah bint Khuwaylid (RA) and the early days of the Prophet’s mission, offering a moving insight into this pivotal chapter of Islamic history.
Next, we visit the Museum of the Holy Qur’an, the first of its kind in Makkah. This modern museum showcases the grandeur and timelessness of the Qur’an, illustrating its influence on the lives of Muslims throughout history. Visitors can admire ancient Qur’anic manuscripts, rare artifacts, and multimedia exhibits that use advanced technology to convey the message and preservation of the Holy Book across centuries.
We then ascend towards Jabal Al Nour, famously known as the Mountain of Light. Near its summit lies the sacred Cave of Hira, where in Ramadhan 610 CE, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) received the first revelation of the Holy Qur’an. The mountain not only holds immense spiritual importance but also offers a panoramic view over Makkah and the Holy Mosque, making it one of the most visited sites by pilgrims and visitors seeking to reflect upon this monumental moment in Islamic history.
