At the Natural Monument of the Dinosaur Footprints in Ourém, visitors will walk along one of the largest sets of preserved sauropod tracks in Europe, dating back more than 175 million years. This open air site offers a unique opportunity to see hundreds of footprints imprinted in limestone, perfectly preserved from the Jurassic period. With the guidance of your tour leader, you will learn how these fascinating giants moved and lived, and understand the scientific importance of this site, considered one of Portugal’s most remarkable paleontological treasures.

2Grutas de Mira de Aire
The Mira de Aire Caves are the largest in Portugal, stretching for more than 11 kilometers underground. Visitors will descend into a fascinating world of stalactites and stalagmites, shaped by nature over thousands of years.
