2. Departing Keflavík – Gateway to Iceland
As you leave the airport, you’ll begin your journey across the Reykjanes Peninsula, a UNESCO Global Geopark renowned for its rugged volcanic landscapes.
Your driver may share insights about Iceland’s geology, culture, and local life as you pass by:
- Lava Fields of Reykjanes – vast, moss-covered lava plains formed by ancient eruptions.
