We begin our water town adventure in the East Gate (Dongzha), known for its authentic and preserved local lifestyle. I will guide you through the fascinating Hundred-Bed Museum, showcasing exquisite ancient woodcarvings. We will also visit the centuries-old Sanbai Wine Distillery to see how local rice wine is brewed, and catch a glimpse of traditional shadow puppetry or martial arts on the trading boats.

In the afternoon, we transition to the stunning West Gate (Xizha). This area is a photographer's absolute dream! I will take you to the iconic Hongyuantai Indigo Fabric Workshop, where towering blue-and-white cloths dry in the sun. We will wander through ancient stone bridges and the Old Post Office. As the sun sets and the lanterns light up, I highly recommend an optional traditional wooden boat ride gliding through the serene canals for a truly cinematic experience
