Santa Barbara Equine Art Experience is a magical bonding experience for families and groups of all ages to create lasting memories and craft original art keepsakes together during your Santa Barbara vacation.
No special previous training in art or horses is required to attend our Equine Art Workshop. This experience is open to people of all skill levels, ages and backgrounds. We encourage anyone with an interest in equine art and nature to participate including children of any age a parent sees fit.
With over 20 acres of breathtaking ranch views and the presence of 7 majestic horses, this location offers an abundance of inspiration for any budding artist. The expansive landscape and the horses of our herd, create a truly captivating setting.
Please inquire about any special needs your group may have, we aim to provide an inclusive experience for everyone who can benefit from the healing energy of Restoration Ranch.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Look for the blue sign with the name of our company at the base of Barger Canyon Rd at Foothill Rd. Proceed north on Barger Canyon and follow the signs. We are on the left hand side before the split in the road.
What to expect
Dress comfortably and practically for an active experience. We recommend sturdy footwear like boots or old sneakers and comfortable clothing such as jeans or sweatpants. Layers are also a good idea to adjust to changing weather conditions which can range from hot and dusty, to chilly and damp with possible mud on those rare rainy days in Santa Barbara. We operate rain or shine!

As Restoration Ranch is a working ranch with large animals in nature, all participants must sign a liability waiver before arrival.
Trail rides are available separately and are not included in the art experiences.

- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
