That night the British turned the tables at Rorke’s Drift and held out against a ferocious attack by the numerically superior Zulu warriors in an all night Battle, and where 11 Victoria crosses were awarded.

We travel through Boer War territory. Your guide will give you a factual talk about this war, its origins and consequences and effects on world history. Drive through the siege town of Ladysmith where the British army were besieged for three months by Boer forces.
