Look for the vehicle: The driver will arrive in a city car Meeting Point: Please wait at the agreed location within Malang City Waiting Area: Stay in the designated waiting area so the driver can easily find you. If you cannot locate the vehicle, simply reply to the driver’s WhatsApp message.
Our basecamp is called Klopo Rest Area, located on the right side of the road, just a short distance after the direction sign.

Sunrise Point is the most famous viewpoint in Mount Bromo, where visitors gather early in the morning to witness the iconic golden sunrise over the Tengger Caldera. Widodaren Hill is a sacred spot located near Mount Bromo’s crater, known not only for its panoramic views but also for its cultural and spiritual significance to the Tenggerese people. The name “Widodaren” comes from the Javanese word widodari, meaning “angel” or “heavenly nymph,” as the locals believe this hill is the dwelling place of sacred spirits. From the hill, visitors can enjoy sweeping views of Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and the surrounding volcanic landscape. It’s also a popular photo stop along the jeep route before visiting the crater.

The Bromo Crater is one of the most remarkable parts of Mount Bromo, where visitors can climb about 250 steps to reach the rim and see the active volcano steaming up close. It’s a thrilling experience, but also requires extra time and energy. Because of this, visiting the crater is considered an optional stop. It will depend on the group’s agreement and the direction of your tour guide to ensure the schedule and safety of all participants are well managed.
