Overlooking the "oranges garden", stands the first of the two medieval Basilicas on the Aventino: Santa Sabina that dates back to the 5th century b.C. wiht its monastery that it is the headquarter of the Dominicans order in the world.
We reach the second of the minor Basilicas: SS. Alessio e Bonifacio that dates back in the 4th century b.C
We proceed to enter the Malta Knights square: where the Knights Templar estabilshed their base in the 12th century
We'll discover the symbols hidden in the facade of the Villa of the Malta Knights and try to find connections with the Templar Knights mysterious story.
S. Anselmo with its Catholic University atheneum and its Romanesque style that recalls the spirituality of the middle ages.
We'll walk through the Roseto comunale admiring the different roses that blooms in spring and early fall and stop to admire the magnificent ruins on the Palatine hill just in front of us: the Massenzio Thermal Baths and part of the Domiziano palace then walk towards the Circus Maximus
Last stop before the GELATO is the magnificent Circus Maximus, located between the Aventine and Palatine hills: a venue for games since the foundation of the Eternal City
