What to expect

First, you will begin by receiving an introduction from your local guide using slides, where you’ll learn about the Maneki-neko (Lucky Cat), its history, and cultural meaning in Japan.
Next, you will paint the main body of your Lucky Cat using paint and brushes, creating the base of your own unique design.
Once the base layer has dried, you will move on to adding details using brush pens or markers. These patterns are based on simple designs you will have practiced beforehand, so you can enjoy the process with confidence.
After that, you will choose one sticker featuring Japanese characters and place it on the center of your Lucky Cat, adding a traditional touch to your creation.
Finally, you will have time to freely decorate your piece using a variety of stickers provided, finishing your own personalized Lucky Cat to take home.
