Welcome, cruise passengers! Spectacular rock formations made of 100% volcanic stone, a hot coastline and a pleasantly cool interior: accompanied by Don, a middle-aged German expat living in Cape Verde, you will spend a relaxed day on a small island in the middle of the Atlantic.
Our destination is Assomada, in the heart of the island. Here you will discover the market, the large pedestrian area with its church and open square, statues of our ancestors and former conquerors, and of course the famous Poilão, a giant tree around 800 years old with a trunk almost 30 metres in circumference.
We will show you some great spots for taking photos and tell you the best stories and anecdotes from more than four years of expat life in Cape Verde.
To finish the day, we offer an exclusive tasting of grogue, beer and fruit juices that you will only find with us.

4Assomada
Our visit to Assomada, "the most African city in Cape Verde"! Including a private Groggu tasting, a high-proof spirit made from sugarcane! It's also served as a punch. In Assomada, you'll also sample Igor's home-brewed beer and sip freshly blended fruit juices. The tasting is, of course, included in the price.
