The first stop reveals the origin of everything. Long before the vineyards, Espírito Santo do Pinhal was already recognized as one of the world’s largest coffee stoves. In Earth of Kurí, we will be by Fernando and Raquel, idealizers of space, for a immersion in the universe of special coffee. The experience includes introduction to the history and types of coffee, understanding the process from field to cup, sensory experience with the wheel of aromas and flavors and tasting and harmonizing special cafes, exploring different sensory profiles.

After immersion in the coffee, the script advances into a new chapter of Pinhal’s identity: the wine. At InnVernia, we will walk among the vineyards and see a project that unites tradition and innovation, with rare wine varieties in the region, such as Saperavi and Sangiovese. The tour includes a visit to the ruins of the ancient Fazenda Palmeira, an important historical landmark of the golden age of coffee. Afterwards, there is free time for lunch at the wine restaurant, led by chef Mariana Almeida. Lunch is not included, with options à la carte or menu harmonized with house wines.

The closing of the day takes place in a setting where the wine is lived in its purest form. At the Merum Vinícola, we will participate in a guided tasting of four labels, knowing the history, the terroir and the techniques that give identity to the wines of the house, while the landscape of the Serra da Mantiqueira transforms with the fall of the afternoon. The sunset in Merum is a moment of contemplation and full presence, ending the day in a memorable way.
