    Merzouga

    Meet your guide and crew in M’Hamid — the gateway to the Sahara. Begin the journey into the desert by 4x4 or camel trek (depending on your package). Pass through stunning desert scenery: sand dunes, hamada (rocky desert), and dry riverbeds. Stop for a tea break or picnic lunch in the shade of a tamarisk tree. Afternoon Continue the route toward Erg Chigaga, the largest dune field in Morocco, rising up to 300 meters. Arrive at the desert camp before sunset. Enjoy time to climb the dunes and take in panoramic views of the Sahara. Evening Watch a spectacular sunset over the dunes. Traditional Berber dinner served around the campfire. Local music and drumming under the stars. Overnight in a comfortable desert tent (nomadic-style or luxury camp).
