Simon Cabaret is Phuket's largest ladyboy performance group and the only government-supported such group, operating for over thirty years since its founding in 1991. Located in Patong Beach, its performances are renowned for their multicultural stage design and lavish costumes, featuring themes such as a Chinese palace, the Egyptian Sphinx, and an American cowboy pub. The show is a lip-syncing song and dance performance, combined with lighting and rapidly changing sets to create a magical visual effect. Multiple shows are held daily, each lasting approximately one hour, suitable for all ages and free of vulgar content. After the show, audience members can pay to take photos with the performers.
