The 16th-century ballroom (now Ancient Roman Sculpture Gallery) displays Diana the Huntress and Sleeping Hermaphrodite. Upstairs: 2nd treasure Winged Victory of Samothrace (visit Apollo Gallery of Jewels if 2026-reopened). Next, Italian Painting Gallery: early Renaissance (Cimarappe, Giotto), Renaissance greats (Botticelli, Messina, Veronese, Titian)—plus Mona Lisa. Then admire 18th-century French Neoclassical works: David’s Napoleon’s Coronation and Ingres’ Grand Odalisque. In 19th-century French Romanticism Hall, view Géricault’s Raft of the Medusa and Delacroix’s Liberty Leading the People. Finally, descend to 16th–18th century Italian Sculpture Gallery: Michelangelo’s Two Bound Slaves (Renaissance) to Canova’s Cupid and Psyche’s Kiss (Neoclassical). Tour ends; guests explore freely.
