We will meet at Café Condesa, Parque Central, Antigua Guatemala. If you prefer another point within the center of Antigua, we can easily coordinate it after your reservation. We will send you confirmation with the exact place and a contact number to facilitate communication on the day of the experience.

The meeting point is Café Condesa, Parque Central, Antigua Guatemala, in front of the Cathedral of San José. Easy to reach by foot or taxi/tuk-tuk. We can also coordinate another point within the center of Antigua after booking.

What to expect

During this experience you will live the essence of Guatemalan cuisine in a unique environment.

We will start with a welcome at Casa San Miguel and a brief introduction on the local ingredients and gastronomic culture of the country.

Then, from our expert chef in traditional Guatemalan cuisine, you will learn to prepare typical dishes using fresh ingredients from the region. The menu includes Pepian or Jocon, rice soup, and tortillas or toast with guacamole.

In the end, you will enjoy the tasting of what you cooked, accompanied by local drinks, while sharing stories and traditions of Guatemalan culture.
