After the tour, enjoy a hands-on cooking experience using Hatcho miso. From preparation to cooking and even cleaning up, you’ll take part in the full process alongside the president himself.

The president and CEO of Maruya Hatcho Miso, which was founded in 1337, will personally guide you through the miso storehouse. The storehouse, which has been in operation for over 150 years, is a spectacular sight, with rows of 2m-high wooden barrels and 3 tons of weights piled up. After the miso storehouse tour, you will have the opportunity to try a simple Hatcho Miso cooking experience. You will experience everything from food preparation to cooking, dining, and cleaning up together with the president.
