It is accessible to any traveler - especially those who have little time before or after their cruise or stopover - to approach natural environments outside the tourist circuit and very rich in variety of birds.

Each outing is different, as day conditions and wetland dynamics offer multiple possibilities to observe birds and photograph fauna. The island allows you to enter a wide natural landscape, with a feeling of isolation difficult to find so close to Buenos Aires.

What to expect

Talavera Island offers one of the richest birding experiences in the region just a few kilometers from Buenos Aires. Located in the Paraná Delta, this large island combines wetlands, reeds, pajonales, lagoons and riparian forests that are home to a remarkable diversity of birds and wildlife. On the southern boundary of a much larger system, it allows to find rare and difficult to observe species in the city.

During the day we will travel different environments of the delta by quiet paths, adapting the route according to the conditions and activity of the birds. It is possible to observe wetland specialists, raptors, waterfowl and riparian forest.

Being a private excursion, the experience is flexible with the interests of every traveler, whether it is bird watching, nature photography or simply discovering one of the most unique natural environments in Argentina.

We have a telescope to observe birds at a distance and shared binoculars for those who do not have them.

Comfortable footwear, sunscreen and insect repellent are recommended. In case of heavy rains, the activity may be rescheduled or cancelled for safety.
