Immerse yourself in the world of Château Franc Mayne during a guided tour, where our guides will tell you all about the history of the estate. You’ll discover the incredible history of Saint-Emilion’s underground galleries, as well as the two hectares of our quarries, which are brought to light. The tour ends with a tasting of three wines, for a complete sensory experience.

2Saint-Emilion
Located 40 minutes from Bordeaux and easily accessible, Saint-Émilion is an extraordinary medieval town that welcomes adventurers, wine lovers, and the simply curious year-round. A town steeped in history, perched on a rocky promontory, Saint-Émilion and its vineyards owe their unique character to the limestone that has shaped their identity. This is evidenced by the presence of 200 km of underground galleries that provided the limestone necessary for the construction of numerous buildings in the region, particularly in Bordeaux. Let's have your lunch to the restaurant Chai Pascal located in the heart of the village of Saint-Émilion. They offer homemade dishes crafted by the chef Mickaël, along with a fine selection of wines from here and beyond.

3Chateau Ausone
The Ausone estate is anchored to the side of the hill in a place called Roc Blancan, literally “white rock”. It is a mineral stage, slowly hewn by Man, where, for the last two thousand years, life has chosen to establish itself in stone, as have the vines.
