Located on Hasippee Road, in the hills behind Patong City Centre. Follow the concrete road up about 200 meters to the entrance with our elephant village sign. Staff in blue Hill Tribe Elephant Village shirts will welcome you at the reception.

his 45-minute, family-friendly program introduces children to rescued elephants through safe, educational, and ethical observation. The visit begins in a calm forest setting where families meet the caretaking team and learn how natural foods—such as banana trees and fruits—are prepared for the elephants. Kids can watch caretakers demonstrate food preparation and enrichment methods while understanding what elephants eat and why. From a safe, respectful distance, families observe the elephants enjoying their food and engaging in natural behaviors, with guides explaining how elephants communicate, play, and interact with their mahouts. The program includes a short walk along a shaded jungle path where guests can observe the elephants moving naturally in their environment, without touching, feeding, or direct interaction.
