What to expect

What makes Zhangjiajie so famous? For many, it was the ink paintings of Wu Guanzhong — a modern master who captured these misty peaks in brush and ink. It’s this very spirit of blending art with nature that comes alive in your hands-on class, where you’ll dive into the world of Chinese ink painting alongside a friendly local artist.
To make it easier for you to join, your studio is just a three-minute walk from the lower station of Tianmen Mountain Cableway.
· The session starts with a brief intro to the art form: its roots, meaning, and deep connection to the natural world.
· Next, your teacher will demonstrate how to paint those iconic Zhangjiajie peaks.
· Then it’s your turn! Try the brush techniques yourself and create your own painting on rice paper.
