1Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
Morning departure from Wulingyuan East Gate. Ascend to the mountaintop via the Bailong Elevator (the world’s tallest outdoor elevator). Explore the core zones of Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain, with highlights including Avatar Mountain, First Bridge Under Heaven (a natural sandstone arch), Imperial Brush Peak, and Fairy Scattering Flowers. Descend via the Tianzi Mountain Cableway, or take the route in reverse. Tour concludes at 3 PM at East Gate, ensuring a smooth transition to the Tianmen Mountain night visit.

2Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park
Drive 40 minutes to the Tianmen area. Arrive by 4 PM (last entry at 4:30 PM; allow time for queuing and entry procedures). Take the cable car to the mountain, overlook the 99-bend road, walk the Glass Skywalk, climb the 999-step Heavenly Staircase, and visit Tianmen Cave. Optional extras: Tianmen Cave escalator (RMB 32/person), forest sightseeing cable car (RMB 25/person), non-slip shoe covers for the glass skywalk (RMB 5/person).
