Step into a postcard-perfect pocket of Edinburgh. Just minutes from Princes Street, Dean Village feels a world away – riverside paths, 19th-century architecture, and endless textures to capture.
We’ll follow the Water of Leith to St Bernard’s Well and Stockbridge for a mix of nature, history, and urban charm.
Small groups (max 8) mean there’s time for individual guidance. You’ll leave with stronger photography skills — and a memory card full of Edinburgh’s best angles.

At the botton of NW Circus Place, turn right onto St Stephen Place. The Arch is a few hundred feet on the left hand side of the road.

    Begin at the Stockbridge Market Arch. Explore the historic archway and surrounding streets. Capture textures of stonework and street details, and use the arch to frame your first shots for composition practice.

    Stroll along the Water of Leith, a tranquil riverside path. Photograph the flowing river, reflections, and bridges. Focus on leading lines and symmetry to create dynamic compositions with the natural surroundings.
