    Mutianyu Great Wall

    Mutianyu is located in Beijing's Huairou District, about 70 kilometers (43 miles) northeast of downtown Beijing. The drive typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours. This section is famous for its beautiful, forested scenery and well-preserved fortifications. It's less crowded than the Badaling section. A unique feature is that you can take a cable car up and a luge (toboggan) slide down for a fun and exciting experience.
