Zhangjiajie National Forest Park lies in northwest Hunan. Renamed from a forest farm in 1982, it covers 4,810 hectares.
Take the eco-shuttle to Bailong Skyway, a world-famous open sightseeing elevator in Wulingyuan World Natural Heritage Area. The 65-yuan fee per person is included and non-refundable. You can shoot wonderful mountain views while ascending, and admire the General Formation of 48 stone peaks.
Then reach Yuanjiajie, a plateau featuring the Back Garden and Mysterious Hill Platform. It is the filming site of *Avatar*, where South Heavenly Pillar inspired the floating Hallelujah Mountain.
We continue to Tianzi Mountain, famous for natural landscapes, folk customs and local snacks. You may hike down or take the optional downhill cable car at 72 yuan per person.
The last stop is Ten Miles Gallery, a scenic canyon. The 5km round walk is strenuous. A sightseeing train is available: 38 yuan one way, 76 yuan round trip. The tour ends as we return to the city.

1Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
After entering the park, take an eco-friendly vehicle to reach the departure point of the "Bailong Sky Lift". The Bailong Sky Lift is located in the core area of the World Natural Heritage - Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area. It is known as the "Oriental Eiffel Tower" and is one of the double-deck sightseeing elevators on the list of the world's 11 most creative elevators. It is also renowned along with the German fish tank elevator and the American arch elevator. Standing inside the double-deck fully exposed sightseeing elevator, you will feel as if you are in a fairyland and can admire the "General Formation" composed of 48 independent stone peaks.

2Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area
The Ten-Li Gallery is a renowned canyon landscape located within the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. It is famous for its numerous magnificent and diverse peaks and rocks on both sides. The entire route is approximately 5 kilometers long and requires a return trip along the same path, which is quite physically demanding. Instead, we took the Ten-Li Gallery small train to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Ten-Li Gallery with ease.
