Welcome to the Tenet shooting locations tour, guided by a Tenet background actor!
Did you know that Tallinn played a major role in Tenet? The city appeared not only as itself, but also as Kyiv and Oslo. During this unique experience, you’ll visit several of the film’s key shooting locations and uncover Estonia's Soviet past.
Your tour guide worked side by side with Christopher Nolan and his crew during the filming of Tenet’s explosive opening sequence. He’ll share his experiences as a background actor, show you some rare screen-used props, and tell you a few fun facts about this underrated movie.
An absolute dream tour for Tenet fans and history lovers alike!
Note: On the shorter version of the tour (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday), we’ll take the tram twice to travel between locations — just as the heroes did in Tenet. On the longer version (Wednesday and Sunday) we’ll also take the bus twice. These rides are short, and tickets are included in the tour price.
Meet your tour guide in front of the F-Hoone restaurant in Telliskivi.
The tour will commence in the heart of Tallinn's most creative district, where some of Tenet's biggest movie stars used to hang out after work.
We'll explore the train tracks featured in the movie.
This colossal Soviet-era theatre played a crucial role in the explosive opening scene of Tenet. Your tour guide will share stories from the set and show you some screen-used props. Afterwards, you'll have time to explore the complex and capture photos of Tallinn's skyline and the Baltic Sea.
Visit a Soviet-era cinema where Christopher Nolan was first spotted in Tallinn. We'll also take a look at the Pärnu Highway, which was featured twice in the film.
The final stop of the shorter tour is the now-abandoned courthouse, where the Protagonist first learned about inversion.
Enjoy a panoramic view of the highway carved into limestone, where Tenet’s famous car chase was filmed.
KUMU Art Museum's grand atrium found an unexpected role in Tenet. The museum also has a bathroom and a café where you can buy snacks, sweets, or a hot drink.
Our tour concludes at a massive Soviet war memorial that served as the backdrop for the meeting between the Protagonist and Priya.
