This Northern Lights Photo Tour is all about capturing the aurora at its best. Guided by a local Aurora photographer, you won’t wait in one spot. Using years of experience and live weather data, we actively seek out clear skies, traveling far from Rovaniemi and even across the border into Sweden to scenic hidden spots, if needed.

You’ll ride in a spacious, comfortable van, stop at scenic locations along the way, and when the lights appear, your guide will take professional photos of you under the aurora. When conditions allow, we record a timelapse of the sky dancing above. Small groups and a relaxed pace make the night as memorable as the lights themselves, while giving you the chance to either let your guide capture the perfect shot or learn tips to photograph the aurora yourself. Hot drinks are provided to keep you warm throughout the tour.

    You will join a local Aurora hunter and travel beyond city lights to chase the Northern Lights using real-time weather data and local knowledge. Each night’s route is adjusted to find the clearest skies and strongest activity. When the aurora appears, your guide will take professional photos of you under the lights so you can enjoy the moment without worrying about camera settings. You will visit hand-picked Arctic locations such as frozen lakes and forest clearings, enjoy hot drinks to stay warm, and return to Rovaniemi after the best viewing window.
