Explore the eerie side of Puebla on a captivating tour that unveils the city's most haunted locations. Visit a 17th-century mental asylum rich in ghost stories of nuns and soldiers, then journey to the Ovando Bridge, haunted by the spirit of a wealthy man's daughter for over 200 years. Finish at an ancient house steeped in legend, where a mythical beast tragically claimed the owner's son. From October 2nd to November 2nd, experience the Haunted experience featuring 12 rooms filled with 16th-century artifacts, enhanced by light, sound, and actors to create an immersive atmosphere.

We will meet up at Zócalo´s fountain (located in the center of the Zócalo square). The guide (me) will be waiting with a sign with the tour agency name (Mina´s Tours).

Itinerary

    We will discover the history of the first hospital for travelers founded in 1563 then it became a hospital for mentally ill patients ruled by nuns. When the goverment separated from the catholic church in 1858 the hospital became a place to experiment new treatments on female patients. We will explore the whole building including the isolation rooms and pharmacy. Be ready to feel the presence of the people that lived and died there.

    We will visit Ovando´s Bridge. One of the richest socialites of colonial Puebla has been haunting the area. Numerous ghost sightning have been reported incuding her own father´s.

    We will walk to our next destintion trough one of the most Instagramable streets of downtown Puebla while we learn about the amazing buildings on each side of the street.

    Casa del que mato al animal- House of the one that killed the animal. The architecture of the house talks about the legend of an mythical aminal that killed the heir of the wealthiest family in Puebla. The house has other ghost sightning reported and in October and November a hunted house experience is also offered to the brave ones that dare to face the ghosts that live here.
