You can enjoy nature while listening to the flow of water and the birds singing in the quiet, green forest. If we are lucky, you might even encounter wild deer or chipmunks. The view from the top is spectacular if the weather is good enough. You can see the Alps, the city, the lake, and even Mt. Fuji. Although the top is a tourist spot, it is not too crowded.

What to expect

This is hiking up and down the same way back. We start at 1,000m in elevation following a stream on the trail. It keeps going up all the way to the top of 1,900m. The distance is about 10km, returning. We hike mostly in covered forest. The last 20-30minutes to the summit is over the tree line. Depending on your walking pace, the time varies. The average walking pace is 3 hours up and 2 hours down. On the way, we will stop several time for our break. We can have our lunch at the summit. There is nothing really difficult on the trail, but it requires reasonable fitness level. The summit has 360 views. This tour operates from May to Nov. at the moment. (No snow season.)
