Experience papercraf and coloring the giant goldfish float slated for the “Midwinter Nebuta Festival” while receiving instruction from master Nebuta artist Tatsuta Ryuhou, who crafts the large floats for the Nebuta Festival—one of Tohoku's Three Great Festivals.
You can also try coloring the “Oniwakamaru” float, created by Mr. Tatsuta 20 years ago for Asamushi Nursery School (at the time).
No special preparation is needed to participate.

Please come to the large conference room on the 4th floor of Roadside Station “Yu-sa Asamushi”.
What to expect
you can experience the paper craft and coloring of a giant goldfish float scheduled to appear in the “Midwinter Nebuta Festival.”
You can also experience coloring the “Oniwakamaru” float, which Mr. Tatsuta created 20 years ago for Asamushi Nursery School (at the time).
