This old temple from the mid 1850s has been a church, a confederate medical storehouse, a federal forces seizure, and even a historic manuscript and document museum.
This building is completely off-limits to the general public. The only way to explore this place is through this gathering.
We invite you to be one of the first pioneers to discover the paranormal secrets of Saint James.
This is NOT simply a story telling tour. This is an active ghost hunting quest.
Yes, you can bring your own ghost hunting equipment, but we will supply a vast assortment of paranormal detection devices for you to use.

    You are invited to an incredibly rare opportunity. Only ten people, a few times a month, will be allowed to participate in an ACTIVE GHOST HUNT through the old Saint James Methodist Church/former Karpeles Manuscript Library. This old temple is completely off-limits to the general public. For almost 150 years, this was a sacred church. Then, for about 30 years, it was part of one of the largest private collections of historic manuscripts in the world. This historic building was constructed in 1856. This place is known by many to be haunted and full of paranormal activity. And for the nonbelievers and skeptics, the building is no doubt creepy, mesmerizing, and downright scary. There will be a brief introductory video about the history of the building, then the fun begins... In the sanctuary we will supply a wide assortment of genuine ghost hunting items for you to use (you're welcome to bring your own too). Participants can then freely move about the building and investigate.
