This experience takes you beyond the usual tourist route to one of Northern Thailand’s most beautiful hidden waterfall spots, where emerald-colored pools invite you to swim, cool off, and slow down in nature.
Paired with a culturally important temple, mountain coffee connected to the Pga K’nyau way of life, and a grand cave hidden inside the mountain, it is a thoughtful journey designed for travelers seeking something more authentic.
With a professional guide leading the journey, guests can enjoy the day with ease, comfort, and a deeper understanding. From hidden nature spots to cultural landmarks, your guide adds the local insight and personal touch that turns a beautiful day into a memorable experience.
Pickup starts from 7:00 AM, and I will message you at 7:00 PM the night before your tour date to confirm the exact pickup time at your hotel.
If you're not staying in the pickup areas, please meet the guide at Starbucks Maya Shopping Mall (outside of Starbucks) at 7.00 AM.
Pickup at your hotel in Chiang Mai Old Town (the square area on the map), Nimman, Chang Moi, Chang Klan, Haiya, Wat Ket. No pickup in Hang Dong, San Sai, Saraphi, Pa Dad, Pa Tan, Mae Rim, and near airport.
After the pickup, we drive to Lamphun for about 3 hours and we will arrive to our first attraction.
The main highlight of the day is Ko Luang Emerald Waterfalls, which is considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the North. The water has a beautiful emerald-blue color, and the whole area feels peaceful and refreshing, surrounded by nature. You will have around 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours here to relax, take photos, enjoy the scenery, and swim if you like.
We drive about 45 minutes to visit Wat Phra Phuttabat Huai Tom in Li District.
An important temple in Lamphun with a peaceful atmosphere and strong local significance. It is a nice stop that adds a quieter, more cultural side to the day.
We head to pa’ka coffee, and it takes about 1 hour to get there.
We stop at Pa’ka Cafe for a short coffee break before heading to the final attraction. This cafe is connected to the local Pga K’nyau (Karen) community and their mountain-grown Arabica coffee, so it is not just a place to grab a drink but also a small way to connect with the area's local lifestyle.
After a short break at the coffee shop, we will now drive to our final attraction for about 10 minutes.
Our final stop is Pha Wiang Grand Cave, a large cave hidden in the mountains of Lamphun. In Northern Thai, the word “Luang” means large, which reflects the cave’s impressive size. Inside, you will see beautiful natural stalactites and stalagmites, large chambers, and rock formations that create a mysterious and memorable atmosphere.
At the end of the day, after exploring waterfalls, temple culture, local coffee, and the cave, we make our way back to Chiang Mai and drop you off at your hotel or arranged meeting point.
