Overview The 1-Day Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari takes you to Volcanoes National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas and one of Africa’s top natural treasures. Optional activities like golden monkey tracking, hiking, and cultural visits enrich the experience. Enjoy a seamless, expertly guided adventure. Detailed Itinerary Day 1: Gorilla Trekking Experience Early morning (5:00 AM), your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel for a scenic 2-hour drive to Volcanoes NP. Upon arrival, you’ll register, join a gorilla group, and begin your trek. Once located, enjoy a magical hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat. After the trek, enjoy lunch followed by a visit to Gorilla Guardians Village for an authentic cultural experience. Later in the afternoon, return to Kigali for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
