    National Theatre Ion Luca Caragiale (Teatrul Nakional Ion Luca Caragiale)

    Built in the 1970s in a modernist style, the theatre was altered during the communist era and later restored to its original design, now featuring ultra-modern performance halls.

    University's Square

    The name is linked to the University of Bucharest building, which flanks one side of the square. It houses 19 faculties, for example Geography, Mathematics, History... It is the second oldest university in the country.
