Hotel pickup is available from Kiwengwa region, including Kiwengwa, Pwani Mchangani, and nearby areas. Your exact pickup time will be confirmed after booking and depends on your hotel location, boat departure point, tides, and sea conditions.
Please be ready at your hotel reception or designated pickup point 10 minutes before the confirmed pickup time. To confirm if your hotel is eligible, please check your booking confirmation or contact our support team.

For any pick up outside our pick up areas, an additional transfer fee may apply to cover for logistics.

    Early Morning – Hotel Pickup in Zanzibar Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel. Transfer to the Zanzibar ferry terminal for your boat journey to mainland Tanzania. Boat Transfer – Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam Board the ferry and enjoy the journey across the Indian Ocean to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, meet your mainland transfer team and continue to the railway station.

    Train Journey – Dar es Salaam to Mikumi Area, Board the train to the Mikumi area and enjoy scenic views of Tanzania’s countryside as you travel inland toward Morogoro and Mikumi.

    Arrival & Transfer to Mikumi National Park Meet your safari guide and continue by road toward Mikumi National Park. After entering the park, begin your first game drive. Afternoon Game Drive Explore Mikumi's wildlife-rich plains in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, antelopes, hippos and a variety of bird species. With good luck, you may also spot lions. Evening – Accommodation After the game drive, leave the park and check in at your accommodation. Relax, enjoy dinner and spend the night near Mikumi National Park. Overnight: Mikumi area

    Early Morning – Breakfast & Game Drive Start the day with an early breakfast before heading back into Mikumi National Park for another game drive. The cooler morning hours are an excellent time to search for active wildlife. Morning Game Drive Continue exploring the park with your experienced safari guide. Look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, monkeys and other wildlife while enjoying the scenery of the park. Late Morning – Exit Mikumi National Park After the game drive, leave the park and begin your journey toward the railway station.
