Explore Santiago like a local on a private, guided bike tour through ParqueMet, one of Latin America’s largest urban parks. We’ll meet in historic downtown, gear up with bike and helmet, then cruise safe bike lanes toward the park, passing everyday Santiago—busy streets, green corners, and landmarks.
We’ll climb Cerro San Cristóbal at a relaxed pace on scenic roads and trails, surrounded by native trees and wide views of the city and the Andes. Along the way you’ll hear stories about Santiago’s neighborhoods and cycling culture.
At the Bellavista Terrace we’ll rest, enjoy traditional mote con huesillo, walk around the sanctuary area, and take photos. On the way down we’ll stop at a viewpoint for the skyline, the “Sanhattan” financial district, and (on clear days) the Andes. We’ll finish with an easy ride along the 42K cycleway beside the Mapocho River back to the start. Bring comfy clothes and know how to ride a bike.
We’ll meet at Avenida Apoquindo 4570, Las Condes. The building is located immediately outside Escuela Militar metro station (Line 1). Please exit via the Los Militares exit; it leads directly to the building.
We’ll pass through Parque Forestal and enjoy the shade as we make our way toward the 42K bike path—one of Santiago’s most pleasant, tree-lined stretches to ride.
We’ll ride alongside the Mapocho River on the 42K bike path as we head toward the hill—an easy, scenic stretch with bridges, murals, and classic Santiago city views.
We’ll ride through Santiago’s most colorful bohemian neighborhood, known for street art, nightlife, and great local food. Highlights include Patio Bellavista (restaurants & bars), La Chascona (Pablo Neruda’s house), and Cerro San Cristóbal access (ParqueMet entrance).
From the base, we’ll ride about 45 min to the top, stopping along the way to take in the city’s northern views
At the top, we’ll rest at the Bellavista Terrace—we’ll take a break to enjoy traditional "mote con huesillo", soak in the views, and snap some photos. We’ll also walk around the sanctuary area before continuing.
On the way down, we’ll make a quick stop at a scenic viewpoint to take it all in—Santiago’s skyline, the **modern financial district (Sanhattan), and (on clear days) the Andes mountains framing the city. It’s a perfect photo moment before we continue the descent.
We’ll head back to the starting point at a relaxed pace, riding the 42K bike path alongside the **Mapocho River all the way to Plaza Italia, enjoying a smooth, scenic finish with the city’s final views.
A central landmark where multiple neighborhoods meet—an important cultural and social hub of Santiago. It’s famous as the city’s main gathering point: people come here to celebrate big wins, to march, to protest, and to make their voices heard—whether we’re happy or angry. It’s a powerful snapshot of Santiago’s energy and identity.
We’ll take Santiago’s most iconic bike lane to ride back, following the Alameda bikelane through the heart of downtown. Along the way you’ll pass major landmarks like Universidad de Chile, Pontificia Universidad Católica, Cerro Santa Lucía, La Moneda Palace, and the historic Iglesia de San Francisco—a smooth, central route that wraps up the tour with classic city sights.
