    We stop at Tokonyan, the giant beckoning cat that welcomes visitors to the town. Tokoname is famous for producing thousands of maneki-neko (lucky cats), and as you walk through the town you will encounter countless statues with playful and varied expressions. It is a delightful spot for photos and a fun introduction to Tokoname’s character.
