The most comprehensive tour to discover New York. We depart at 8:00 AM from Midtown to explore Columbus Circle, Lincoln Center, and the Dakota Building, taking a walk through Strawberry Fields and observing the San Remo Towers, the American Museum of Natural History, and Fifth Avenue, with views of the Guggenheim, the MET, and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. We will cross the Queensboro Bridge to the Queensbridge Park viewpoint and continue through Astoria to The Bronx, visiting the Joker Stairs, Yankee Stadium, and iconic murals. We will then pass through Malba and Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, home to Citi Field, the US Open, and the Unisphere. In Brooklyn, we will explore Williamsburg, home to the Hasidic Jewish community, before finally crossing the Manhattan Bridge and ending near Ground Zero, the perfect spot to continue discovering Downtown on your own.
Please meet in front of Starbucks Worldwide Plaza (325 W 49th St, New York, NY 10019). The guide will be at the main entrance holding a Real’s Tours NYC identification.
The tour ends at 285 Fulton St, next to the World Trade Center, where the journey concludes.
We will depart from Midtown Manhattan and pass through Columbus Circle, where you will be able to appreciate the Christopher Columbus monument.
We will make our first stop at Lincoln Center, which is the designated area for the arts (place where dance, folklore, painting, music, etc. are located).
We will head to the Dakota Building, the final residence of John Lennon.
We will walk through Strawberry Fields, the memorial dedicated to the singer.
We will cross Central Park towards Fifth Avenue, also known as Museum Mile, where we will see the Jewish Museum and the Cooper Hewitt. We will visit the Mayor John Purroy Mitchel memorial area and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir.
We will continue our drive, observing the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Frick Collection, and the Central Park Zoo.
Then, en route to the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge, we will cross over to the Queensbridge Park viewpoint, where we can photograph wonderful views of the Big Apple.
Next, we will enter the neighborhood of Astoria, where we will view NYCHA housing projects.
Afterwards, heading north, we will arrive in the borough of the Bronx, where we will visit the famous Joker Stairs.
We will continue to Yankee Stadium, the temple of baseball.
Then we will pass by the Bronx civil court, courthouses, and criminal court.
We will visit the exterior of the 42nd Precinct, where scenes from the movie "Fort Apache, The Bronx" were filmed.
Our next stop will be the Big Pun mural.
We will visit the iconic "I Love the Bronx" mural.
We will cross the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge towards the borough of Queens.
Later, we will head to the borough of Brooklyn to visit the famous neighborhood of Williamsburg, home to the orthodox Hasidic Jewish community, known as the largest outside of Israel.
Continuing on, we will view the Brooklyn Bridge.
Following our route, we will see from the vehicle the printing press of the most important newspaper in the United States, The New York Times, Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, where the "Mets" stadium (Citi Field) is located, and the US Open National Tennis Center.
Crossing the Manhattan Bridge, we will enter Chinatown and SoHo, heading towards and viewing Federal Plaza and the Manhattan Criminal Court.
We will conclude near the Ground Zero area, where you can enjoy Downtown Manhattan on your own.
