The pickup location is at the Lower Dock Car Park (Macquarie Wharf Car Park) on Hunter Street, Hobart. It is located directly opposite the Grand Chancellor Hobart, on the waterfront side of the road. The pickup point is within the open-air car park area along Macquarie Wharf.
We leave Hobart and travel east before continuing north along the scenic coastline. Along the way, we pass through the charming seaside towns of Orford and Swansea on our journey to Freycinet National Park. Freycinet is one of Tasmania’s oldest national parks and is renowned for its breathtaking coastal scenery. The park features striking pink granite mountains that overlook secluded bays, crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches, abundant wildlife, and beautiful walking trails.
Our group will walk together to the Wineglass Bay Lookout, a moderate uphill hike that takes about 45 minutes. At the top, you will be rewarded with the world-famous view of Wineglass Bay and the spectacular scenery of Freycinet National Park. Take time to enjoy the breathtaking landscape while our guides assist you in capturing memorable photos.

The walk to Wineglass Bay Lookout is one of Tasmania’s Great Short Walks and requires a reasonable level of fitness and mobility. The track is approximately 1.3 km uphill, followed by a return walk downhill.
If you prefer a shorter walk, you can return from the lookout with your tour guide and continue exploring other parts of Freycinet National Park. We will visit the beautiful Honeymoon Bay, where you can relax and enjoy your lunch while admiring the surrounding scenery.
We visit the stunning Cape Tourville Lighthouse and enjoy an easy walking track, one of Tasmania’s Great Short Walks, known for its breathtaking views across the Freycinet Peninsula.
We regroup before starting our journey back. Our final stop on the East Coast is the breathtaking Devil’s Corner Winery, where you’ll have time to relax and admire the magnificent views. While there, you can choose to enjoy a wine tasting, wood-fired pizza, fresh seafood and oysters from Freycinet Marine Farm, or ice cream.
