More than just a husky ride and a reindeer farm visit.
Take a break from the modern world. Feel the thrill of driving your own husky sled through the forest, then slow down at our reindeer farm, where time seems to stand still. Meet our huskies, get to know a reindeer herder and meet his reindeer, and spend some time with us over a bowl of soup in our rustic farmhouse, Tiippana.
We start at our small homestead husky kennel and travel 5 km through the forest by husky sled to reach the remote reindeer farm. At the farm, there’s no electricity, running water or designer interiors. Instead, oil lamps light the yard, and a fire burns in the fireplace, bringing warmth inside the farmhouse. Meet the reindeer and enjoy a warm bowl of traditional soup with our reindeer expert.
After the farm visit, we take a different, 2 km husky route through the forest back to the kennel.

Meeting and pickup
Tour complete duration includes transportation times from and to pick-up points.
Pick-up points and schedules:
1. Husky Park Arctic Circle - pick-up sign on the fence. Pick-up times 08:00, 10:30, 13:00.
2. Scandic City Hotel parking lot - Pick-up times: 08:10, 10:40, 13:10
3. Hotel Metsähirvas Front entrance - Pick-up times: 08:35, 11:05, 13:35.
Please be ready on time at your selected pick-up point, driver will wait for a maximum of 5 minutes.
What to expect
After the safety instructions, you will start the adventure and drive the husky-sled for 5 kilometers through beautiful forests.
When you arrive at the reindeer farm, our reindeer herder will welcome you and take you to meet the reindeer. You’ll get to learn more about the reindeer and the traditional way of life surrounding them. During your visit, you’ll also enjoy a traditional Finnish soup lunch together with our reindeer herder.
After the visit to the reindeer farm, you will drive the husky sled back to our kennel through a different 2km route.
After the tour, you will be transported back to your pick-up point.
